Advising Tools
The following two sets of advising tools are designed to assist students and their advisors.
Curriculum sheets list the core and support courses required for a particular major and suggests general education classes that will result in the most efficient path to a degree in that major.
Road maps are a quarter by quarter plan of the courses required for aparticular major, and also include reminders and major-specific advice.

Advising Holds
To determine your Academic Standiing you need your current Cal Poly GPA. Complete information on Academic Standing can be found at http://dsa.csupomona.edu/registrar/Acad_Stndg.asp
Early Warning Students: Use Blackboard, the Organization is Accounting Advising Hold. After completing the assignment contact Dr. Hurt or Dr. Koo for release of the hold. Probationary Status: Complete Academic Advising Worksheet and contact Dr. Farag to release the hold.
Subject to Disqualification: Complete Academic Advising Worksheet and contact Dr. Pak to release the hold.

Accounting Faculty Advisors - Summer 2009
Advisors are available during office hours and by appointment.
All tenured and tenure-track accounting faculty are faculty advisors and are assigned to students alphabetically by last name. Following is a list of faculty advisors and the students they advise:

Although the ratio of assigned students to faculty advisors changes each Fall Quarter, once you have selected an advisor, you should remain with that advisor. If you determine that another faculty advisor would be preferable, you may choose him or her as your advisor (with their consent).
Students are urged to consult a faculty advisor for all academic and career advising questions or personal difficulties, especially at the beginning of your academic program at Cal Poly Pomona. Students should review their progress towards completion of their academic curriculum with a faculty advisor at least once during each academic year, but more often when necessary or when you have a problem.
College of Business Administration Student Services Center
The Student Services Center (SSC) in Building 6, Room 219, is designed to help all CBA majors by: (1) providing general academic information, (2) assisting in the completion/processing of various univeristy forms (e.g. general academic petitions, drop petitions); and (3) maintaining a supply of most University petitions and forms.
