New CBA Petition Policy - Request for Course Substitution or Acceptance of Transfer Coursework |
Effective immediately the College of Business Administration will no longer accept hand written "Request for Course Substitution or Acceptance of Transfer Coursework" forms. The form is an interactive form that can now be filled out on-line. Click on the "print" button on the upper right-hand corner upon completion of the form.

The "Request for Course Substitution or Acceptance of Transfer Coursework" form is used when a student wants to replace a Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) course with another CPP course or a similar course taken at another institution. If the course was not completed at CPP a course syllabus and course description from the transfer institution must be attached. Bring the petition and documents to the CBA Student Services Center for assistance with obtaining the required signatures.

It generally takes 5 working days per required signature for a petition to be completed. Students will receive an email informing them of the status of the petition by the CBA Student Services Center when a decision has been made.
