Scholarships for 2012 – 2013 Academic Year

Congrats to the 2012-2013 CIS Boeing scholarship winners: Edward Chua, Renee Lacson and Wagner scholarship winner: Joel Julag-ay.

 

Each of the scholarships listed below must be applied online via STARS.  All applications will be reviewed by the appropriate scholarship committee and awards announced once decisions have been made.


Boeing CIS General Scholarships (Closed)

Boeing is awarding a $1,000 scholarship to undergraduate Computer Information Systems students who are U.S. citizens with a Cal Poly GPA and an overall GPA above 3.0. Applications must include a signed recommendation letter from a non-student and (official or unofficial) transcritps. Both need to be uploaded in PDF under the "attach documents" tab of your scholarship application.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements:
Computer Information Systems major.
US citizen.
Undergraduate student.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Personal Statement.
A copy of transcripts (official or unofficial).
A signed letter of recommendation (from a non-student).


Wagner Fund Scholarships (Closed)

The Wagner Fund was created by Dr. Gerald E. Wagner in 1998 through the generous donations of corporate sponsors, alumni and faculty. The fund honors Dr. Wagner’s efforts as a CIS professor, leader in curriculum and commitment to student achievement. An important part of the fund is providing scholarships that reward academic excellence and commitment to the discipline of CIS. The scholarship award can be used towards tuition and fees as early as Fall Quarter, 2013 Application requires signed recommendation letter from non-students and transcritps (official or unofficial).
