Master of Science in Business Administration with an option in Information Systems Auditing. 

Cal Poly Pomona offers a Master of Science in Business Administration degree with the only accredited option in Information Systems (IS) Auditing in the nation. The program is for business decision makers, information systems technical specialists and managers, accounting professionals or others who wish to pursue a career in IS auditing. The objectives of the program are as follows:

  • Developing an understanding of the role and scope of IS auditing and its relationship to an organization.
  • Acquiring the ability to plan, conduct and report the findings of an audit.
  • Preparing students for careers in the IS auditing profession.

A minimum of 45 units is required for the MSBA degree with an emphasis in IS Auditing. Candidates must either complete a project or pass a comprehensive examination as their Terminal Option.

The Committee on National Security Systems and the National Security Agency have certified that California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, CA offers a set of courseware that has been reviewed by National Level Information Assurance Subject Matter Experts and that has been determined to meet National Training Standard for Information Systems Security Professionals, NSTISSI No. 4011 and 4012 for academic years 2006 - 2009.
