Curriculum Flow Chart

A basic curriculum flow chart has been constructed to guide students on type of courses required for the department. The student must take all necessary courses in the following areas:

Standard AACSB Business Core Courses
These business courses satisfy the basic requirements of the College of Business Administration, Cal Poly Pomona.

Accounting
Statistics/Mathematics Marketing
Computer Information Systems
Management
Operations
Integration of the above

State-Mandated General Education Courses
These courses satisfy the basic GE courses required for all students.

English/Speech Finance
Physical Science
Biological Science
Literature/Art/Philosophy
Economics/History/Sociology
Depth/Integration of the above

TOM Required courses

Management Science
Production Management
Total Quality Management

A TOM student must also declare a Career Track from the list below. Students should consult with an advisor to obtain more information and to get approval for their declared track.

Senior Projects
All TOM students are required to complete a Senior Project prior to graduation.
